We are looking for energetic "intrepreneurs" to join our team to research, develop, and coordinate conferences from initiation to completion for all industries.
Responsibilities • Conduct telephone and in person research with potential attendees in a target market to develop conference agendas • Analyze research to develop commercial conference programs that meet the stated needs of the market • Identify, invite and confirm appropriate speakers for conferences • Write marketing copy for promotional conference brochures and other mailing pieces • Conduct ongoing research within assigned area to further industry knowledge and develop potential new conference ideas • Establish and maintain relationships with key professionals, industry leaders, senior executives and media within relevant vertical markets • Attend and oversee conferences, including providing opening introduction, speaker assistance and support • Work with and support a cross-functional team on an ongoing basis to ensure successful marketing and sponsorship of conferences • Generate and validate new conference topics

Requirements: • Bachelor's degree; graduate degree preferred (J.D., MBA, etc) • At least 2 years work experience in a corporate/professional environment • Skill and experience using word processing programs, email and the internet to perform daily job functions efficiently • An ability and willingness to travel nationally (10% travel)
