Common Essential Duties:

Drafts, reviews and negotiates customer and vendor sales and services contracts and associated activities for the Wireless Terminals Sales, Product Management, and Customer Care Center on a dedicated basis with assistance from the Contract Administrator.
Provides legal advice to Marketing department, with assistance from the Staff Attorney.
Review legal date and advises organization on appropriate legal actions to be taken.
Manage US litigation by or against STA, as well as customer disputes, regulatory hearings and internal investigations.
Support other department attorneys in developing contract strategies, performing and reviews and preparing consumer disclosures to reduce liability risk.
Assist South Korea parent company in US based IP and class action litigation matters.
Responsibilities will include coordination of discovery, managing dispute resolution, initiation of litigation strategy and attendance at corporate depositions and court hearings/trails.

Background/Experience:

A Bachelor's Degree required; major in business or engineering a plus
A Juris Doctorate Degree from an ABA accredited school and admission to at least one state bar in good standing
Have 5+ years experience with at least 3 years law firm experience
Substantial litigation experience, including coordinating and responding to discovery in large case matters
Experience in defending consumer class actions and/or defending or asserting IP infringement claims strongly preferred
Strong research, writing and analytical skills; must be able to read, interpret, present and explain legal defense strategies and documents
