Where’s your favorite place? Where do you get the best cup of coffee? And most importantly, favorite joke?
Elona: My favorite place to live happens to be wherever I am living at the moment although NYC high rise living watching the Empire State Building light up at night is pretty high up on my list. My best cup of coffee is from La Campinas Brazil. My favorite joke is ….. you have to come to hear me tell it!
Gael: My favorite place depends on the company (or lack of). Had wonderful days with my daughter and grandson in the Boston Public Gardens, amazing trip to Maine with my husband and very peaceful and rejuvenating trip to Dove Mountain in Tucson by myself (an executive suite at the Ritz Carlton helped that). My favorite joke is one about a boy playing with his train in the backyard and his mother overhearing his mimicking of the conductor.
Lori: My husband and I moved to a high-rise in Atlanta last year and we love it – living on 47th floor feels like we are living in the clouds and amongst the stars at night; sometimes we can see helicopters flying below us and recently watched fireworks which were all around our balcony. The best coffee is any kind of Mexican coffee while on vacation in Mexico full of great liqueurs.
First concert and best concert?
Elona: First concert was Ozzie. Best concert I’ve been to is Lady Gaga.
Gael: First concert was Andy Gibb. Best concert is David Bowie because I’ve had to miss Foo Fighters the last two times I had tickets, but I will see them in August.
Lori: First concert was Styx in Boston when I was a teenager. Best concert would be Rolling Stones of course, but very hard to pick the best out of the 80 plus of them I have seen. The best was probably last summer in Rome in the Circus Maximus surrounded by mostly Italians among the antiquities in the front section, the Tongue Pit.
