Elizabeth (Beth) Janeway Hallyburton is Assistant General Counsel in the Global Dispute Resolution & Prevention group of GlaxoSmithKline. Since joining GSK in 1998, Beth has managed all aspects of a wide variety of complex government investigations and litigation matters for the company. Beth’s expertise includes internal ABAC investigations; federal investigations into allegations of fraud, off-label promotion, kickbacks, improper price reporting, and cGMP violations; multi-state attorney general litigation; consumer fraud actions; third-party payer actions; and products liability litigation. She was also part of the team that negotiated GSK’s Corporate Integrity Agreements. Previously, Beth was an associate at Jenner & Block in Chicago and at Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice in Raleigh, NC. She specialized in litigation at both firms. Beth received her JD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she was Editor in Chief of the North Carolina Law Review. She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts from Wake Forest University.
