GERARD CEDRONE is a shareholder and member of the board of directors at Lavin O’Neil Cedrone & DiSipio. Mr. Cedrone has devoted his entire professional career to automotive product liability defense. Mr. Cedrone has served as national coordinating counsel, national and regional trial counsel and lead trial counsel in product liability and toxic tort matters involving the automobile industry. He is currently counseling or defending domestic and foreign automotive clients in matters involving self-driving technology as well as active vehicle safety technologies. He has lectured extensively on emerging automotive technologies, including semi-autonomous and autonomous vehicles. Mr. Cedrone graduated from Temple University School of Law in 1981. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Products Liability Advisory Council, the Defense Research Institute, the Philadelphia Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Defense Institute, the New York Bar Association, American Board of Trial Advocates, Temple Inn of Court and the International Association of Defense Counsel. He has been selected as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer for the last several years. He also serves as a Judge Pro Tempore for the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. Mr. Cedrone is the author of Chapter 10, Section 3, entitled Preparing Your Witness of the “DEFENSE COUNSEL TRAINING MANUAL”, Third Edition, International Association of Defense Counsel. (2016)
