CHRISTOS LINARDAKIS is Manager, Global Trade Compliance for Molex, Inc. Mr. Linardakis holds advanced law degrees (LL.M.) in International Trade Law and International Corporate Law. He has served as a Global Trade Compliance Officer & Empowered Official for a Fortune 25 computer technology company ($4.4B) as well as for a Fortune 500 telecommunications company ($1.5BUSD) and currently, for an electronics company ($3.8BUSD). In those positions he established corporate compliance programs for U.S., E.U. and Asian trade laws, as well as ITAR compliance programs, including MLA/TAA for offshore ITAR manufacturing, instituting compliance operation manuals tailored to specific departmental requirements and Value-Stream Mapping/6-Sigma (VSM) for all Material and Information flow concerning ITAR manufacturing outside the U.S. In addition, Mr. Linardakis has held various other positions for both public and private companies, in various capacities handling ITAR, Exports, Customs and off-shore manufacturing, both for commercial and military products. Mr. Linardakis is fluent in Greek and has traveled extensively, including the Eastern Europe, the Middle East & Asia, for international companies located throughout the world. He is an Adjunct Professor at John Marshall Law School LLM Program, teaching a class entitled “Corporate International Trade Compliance for Practicing Attorneys”.  He has studied abroad in Turkey and Greece via Lake Forest College, and has worked in Greece establishing distributors for Kawasaki products. He double majored in International Business and Economics at Benedictine University and has a minor in English Literature from local community college. In his free time, he volunteers and also is a Board member of The Education Center, a non-for-profit, located in the Chicagoland area that focuses on teaching young adults life-skills and life-coaching in order to succeed in school as well as in life, with a 98% success rate.
