In October, the Supreme Court consolidated and granted cert in two enhanced fee award patent cases: Halo Electronics, Inc. v. Pulse Electronics, Inc., S.Ct. No. 14-1513 and Stryker Corp. v. Zimmer, Inc., No. 14-1520. The Court will focus on the whether the Federal Circuit’s stringent test limited damages is appropriate. This 60 minute webinar will provide an analysis of the history of these cases to date, the current status of case, briefings and oral argument and discuss what practical impact the decision and reasoning of the Court could have on device companies going forward with regards to damages.
