ALICE S. WANG prior to joining National Creditors Connection, Inc. (NCCI) as VP and General Counsel, Alice devoted her national practice to serving and representing companies, including financial service institutions, in all aspects of labor and employment, corporate, and consumer finance law. Her focused practice entailed defending entities against complex business litigation, employment class actions, consumer class actions, as well as regulatory enforcement matters. Alice is an experienced litigator representing companies against claims of unfair business practices, consumer finance violations, trade secret disputes, discrimination, unlawful harassment, wrongful termination, and wage and hour claims, including class actions, complex litigation, and multi-district litigation. Additionally, she is well-versed and experienced in litigation issues involving consumer finance laws, which include but are not limited to, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Acts or Practices (UDAP/UDAAP), Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA). As a VP and General Counsel of NCCI, she is strong advocate for compliance and is dedicated to ensuring compliance on all levels and all areas of consumer finance, including both regulatory compliance and statutory compliance. Alice enjoys and embraces advising on best practices and implementing measures to ensure optimal compliance.
