RICHARD HELLER is Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Legal Sea Foods, a nationally acclaimed restaurant group with over 30 locations on the East Coast and 4,000 employees. Mr. Heller joined the company in 2003 to oversee all legal matters and, in particular, business planning and commercial real estate. Mr. Heller was previously a founding partner at Heller, Levin, and Seksay, P.C. where he focused on business and corporate law. Mr. Heller serves on several non-profit boards including UNICEF – New England, JVS, New England College of Optometry, and the Environmental League of Massachusetts. He is also co-chair of the Leasing Committee of the Massachusetts Real Estate Bar Asociation and a member of the Advisory Board of the Georgetown Law Advanced Commercial Leasing Institute. Since 2014, he has been an adjunct professor at Suffolk University. Upon graduating from Harvard College (cum laude) and Boston University School of Law, he was admitted to practice before the U. S. District Court for Massachusetts, the U. S. First Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U. S. Supreme Court.
