Eric C. Scheiner
ERIC SCHEINER is a partner at Sedgwick LLP. Mr. Scheiner’s practice focuses on coverage matters, with a focus on D&O liability, professional liability, employment liability, managed care/healthcare, general liability (including the Bermuda Form) and reinsurance (including reinsurance audits). He represents domestic and international insurers/reinsurers in coverage litigation and arbitrations, and he frequently assists with drafting insurance policies and endorsements. He has handled a variety of high-profile claims involving multi-million-dollar shareholder class actions, product liability actions and natural disasters. His international experience includes involvement with insurance policies and/or claims in Europe, Asia, South America, the Middle East, the Caribbean and Australia. Mr. Scheiner regularly speaks at seminars, conferences and training workshops regarding emerging claim issues and claims-handling best practices. Mr. Scheiner received his BA, 1996, from the University of Kentucky and his JD, 1996, cum laude, from the John Marshall Law School, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the John Marshall Law Review.
