Molly Miller is the Senior Director for Economic Sanctions and Trade Controls at Capital One (New York, NY). Prior to joining Capital One, Ms. Miller served as Chief in the Enforcement Division at the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). Prior to joining the Enforcement Division, Ms. Miller served as a Senior Advisor at OFAC, overseeing coordination and implementation of various economic sanctions programs in the areas of licensing, compliance, and policy. Ms. Miller also worked for the National Security Council (NSC) as Director for African Affairs, and played a key role in developing and drafting the President's U.S. Strategy Toward Sub-Saharan Africa. Prior to working for NSC, Ms. Miller served as a Policy Analyst at OFAC, working on sanctions policy and regulatory issues. Ms. Miller also worked for the U.S. House of Representatives for several years and for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in Khartoum, Sudan, and Washington, D.C. Ms. Miller holds an M.A. in International Affairs from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies and a B.A. in Political Science from Wheaton College (IL).
