KRISTIN ZIELINSKI DUGGAN is a Senior Associate at Hogan Lovells US LLP. Ms. Duggan graduated with distinction from the Georgetown University Law Center and is admitted to the Maryland Bar. She focuses on assisting clients regarding the development and regulation of medical devices and combination products. Her practice covers products in many therapeutic areas, including cardiovascular products, soft tissue implants, orthopedic implants, gynecologic implants, plastic and reconstructive surgery devices, radiology devices, gastroenterology devices, wound care products, dental implants, endoscopes and surgical instruments, and in vitro diagnostics. Ms. Duggan has over 15 years of experience providing strategic scientific advice to industry including analyzing complex regulatory challenges and regulatory strategy for innovative products, preparing regulatory submissions, assisting with preclinical and clinical programs, assisting with unique FDA approval challenges, preparing for FDA meetings and Advisory Panels, supporting post-marketing activities, and critically reviewing scientific data and regulatory literature. She served as a U.S. Correspondent for the Regulatory Affairs Journal-Devices and has published and presented on various FDA regulatory issues. Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Ms. Duggan served as Vice President for Strategic Consulting at a Washington, D.C. based scientific consulting firm with a particular focus on companies developing and marketing innovative healthcare products. Kristin is currently licensed to practice only in Maryland. Until admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, in accordance with District of Columbia Bar rules, Ms. Duggan’s work will be supervised by principals of the firm who are members of the DC bar.
