CHRISTOPHER G. VAN GUNDY is a partner in the firm’s Litigation and Food and Drug Practices. Mr. Van Gundy is based in the firm’s San Francisco office, and his practice focuses on food law counseling and litigation, regulation, and policy, including class actions, product liability defense, Proposition 65, supply chain liability, indemnity disputes, food authenticity (“food fraud”) issues, false advertising and food marketing claims.
With over 27 years of experience as a trial lawyer, Mr. Van Gundy has litigated a wide variety of complex commercial disputes in both state and federal courts nationwide, as well as international litigation and arbitration, in such areas as false advertising, slack fill, product liability, class actions, trademark law, competition law, and insurance law. Mr. Van Gundy co-chairs the Food Law Committee of the Litigation Section of the California State Bar.
