IMPORTANT NOTICE

After careful consideration, we have decided to remove from the calendar ACI’s Hong Kong Summit on Sanctions Compliance & Trade Controls originally scheduled for June 10–11, 2020 this year.

We have made this decision out of an abundance of caution given COVID-19 concerns. The safety and security of our attendees, speakers, exhibitors, and staff, remain ACI’s top priority.

We apologize for the inconvenience but know that this will give us the time we need to make a fantastic event in 2021.

Join our mailing list to receive updates as they become available.

ACI is delighted to invite you to attend the 3rd Annual Hong Kong Summit on Sanctions Compliance & Trade Controls, taking place in May 2020 in Hong Kong.

Recent investigations targeting companies in various industry sectors ranging from technology to finance, and shipping to insurance, illustrate that economic sanctions are a high risk area for companies. Our Hong Kong Summit on Sanctions Compliance & Trade Controls is the most practical highly regarded sanctions event in Asia.

Programme Highlights from 2019 include:
  • Senior OFAC Speaker, and U.S. State Department Speakers:
OFAC has sent officers from Enforcement Division every year from DC to Asia to provide guidance designed specifically for the Asia compliance and legal market. You don’t have to travel to the US to meet them. You also will have opportunities ask questions directly.
  • Relevant for Both Financial Services and Global Exporters in the Region:
In addition to financial services speakers, we have confirmed speakers from the energy, mining, high-tech, and shipping industries. Also you can network with other industries including agriculture, defense, manufacturing, consumer goods, software service, logistics, food & beverage.
  • 1.5 Days Main Conference Format Saves You Time and Money:
We have selected the most critical issues for the audience in Asia, and developed a condensed one-and-half day forum, saving your time and money.
  • Hands-on and Interactive Workshops:
No matter whether you are new to the sanctions area or have been working on sanctions for a long time. The workshops are worth your time. Hear from an official from OFAC, a leading DC practitioner who has handled large sanctions cases and an in-house speaker. You will leave with tremendous knowledge from our 3.5 hour interactive workshop.
  • CPD, CLE, CPE Credits:
Most of our conference sessions are qualified for CPD, CLE and CPE credits. You can earn your credits while learning practice insights.
