GEORGE J. CARNEVALE‚ Ph.D. is a Clinical Neuropsychologist currently in private practice in Northern N.J. and at Rehabilitation Specialists‚ a community-based provider of neuro-rehabilitation services. He was formerly Director‚ Dept of Psychology & Neuropsychology‚ Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation and has worked clinically with trauma survivors and their families for over twenty years. He is also an Asst Professor in the Dept of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation‚ UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School. He is a Past President of the New Jersey Neuropsychological Society and is currently on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Head Trauma Rehabilitation. Dr Carnevale consults to various hospital trauma centers‚ rehabilitation facilities and long term care providers of medical services to persons with TBI. He is also an Asst. Adjunct Professor at New York University and a consultant to the US Dept. of Defense involving the development of new therapeutic approaches for veterans with TBI and PTSD. Dr. Carnevale continues to lecture extensively and has published in the areas of neuropsychological assessment‚ behavioral approaches to persons with neurologic injury‚ cognitive rehabilitation‚ forensic neuropsychology‚ posttraumatic stress disorder and MTBI among military veterans.
