The integration of technology to enable the flow of sensitive Veteran patient data for services and benefits requires a high standard of protection. Cyberattacks are becoming increasingly sophisticated, and when successful, Veterans are at risk of critical care disruptions, and fraudulent activity. The Dept. of VA –along with other government agencies– identify cyber security as essential to the success of their mission.
This session will focus on:

- Technology applications—telehealth, mobile devices, and smart technology

- Examining how cybersecurity standards are evolving and key pillars of a future-ready cybersecurity strategy
