CAROLYN M. BRUGUERA is a California-based attorney.  She served as Vice President and General Counsel to Micrus Endovascular until its acquisition by Johnson & Johnson.   At Micrus, Ms. Bruguera served on the corporate Compliance Committee and shared responsibility with Micrus’ Corporate Compliance Officer for the design and implementation of compliance programs for the Company’s US and overseas operations and for training of personnel and agents. She was also responsible for the management of Micrus’ legal affairs.  Prior to joining Micrus, Ms. Bruguera was a partner with Montgomery Hansen LLP in Menlo Park, California, where she specialized in corporate and securities law.  She received her undergraduate degree from Harvard University and her law degree from the University of California, Berkeley’s Boalt Hall School of Law.   Ms. Bruguera is a member of the California Bar.
