LISA LIPKIN is the CEO for Story Strategies.  For over twenty-five years, Ms. Lipkin worked as a professional storyteller, writing and performing original works internationally, before founding Story Strategies (, a consultancy that helps organizations and individuals find and tell their authentic stories.  Throughout the early 2000’s. Ms. Lipkin was the storyteller in residence with The Museum of the City of NY, bringing their historic exhibits to life through original storytelling performances. She created dozens of productions celebrating Hudson Rover history including Ghosts on the Hudson, (Battery Park City Parks.); Duel on the Hudson: The Hamilton/Burr Duel (Hudson County Cultural Affairs); Writers of New York (World Financial Center); and #3 Cherry Street: George Washington in New York (Fraunces Tavern Museum).  Her clients include Shell Oil, Colgate Palmolive, ABN AMRO, The Dutch Ministry of Defense, Schweppes, Transamerica, and CMS Legal, helping employees use the power of narrative to persuade and engage listeners, recruit new talent, and enhance employee engagement.  Her articles and stories have appeared in the New York Times Magazine, and the New Yorker, among others.  She is the author of Bringing the Story Home: the Complete Guide to Storytelling for Parents, and the editor of five books of American poetry.
