ZOYA MARRIOTT is a Principal in the Boston office of Cornerstone Research. Dr. Marriott holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Boston University. Dr. Marriott has extensive experience in litigation matters in the life sciences industry, with an emphasis on antitrust, intellectual property, False Claims, and breach of contract matters. She has testified at deposition and trial as an economic expert regarding commercial success issues in Hatch-Waxman litigation. Dr. Marriott has published articles that examined the impact of generic entry for prescription drugs on consumer welfare and the link between stock price reactions to announcements of patent settlements and the alleged anticompetitive nature of those settlements. In addition to her experience on cases in the life sciences industry, she has also examined intellectual property, antitrust, marketing, and valuation questions in other industries.
