Hello

The American Conference Institute (ACI) is pleased to Announce the 2nd Annual National Summit on Hypersonic Weapon Systems taking place April 25–26 in Arlington, VA. This important Congress is a “must attend” event which will highlight global advancements in the development and testing of Hypersonic Weapons. As both Russia North Korea and China have aggressively developed and fielded Hypersonic Weapons, this has created near-peer enemy global strike capabilities.

Since the 2022 National Summit, the Pentagon’s FY2023 budget request for hypersonic research is now $4.7 billion—up from $3.8 billion in the FY2022 request. The Missile Defense Agency additionally requested $225.5 million for hypersonic defense. As Congress reviews the Pentagon’s plans for U.S. hypersonic weapons programs, it might consider questions about the rationale for hypersonic weapons, their expected costs, and their implications for strategic stability and arms control. Potential questions include the following:

  • What missions will hypersonic weapons be used for?
  • Will the fielding of hypersonic weapons affect geopolitical strategic stability?
  • What will hypersonic weapons be incorporated into joint operational doctrine and concepts?
  • Are hypersonic weapons the most cost-effective means of executing these potential missions?

With these and many other critical questions to be addressed, American Conference Institute will provide an all new and engaging two-day forum which will comprehensively analyze and assist in furthering dialogue on the ongoing global proliferation of hypersonic weapons.
