Accreditation Instructions
for Virtual Attendance

CLE

Accreditation will be sought in those jurisdictions requested by the registrants which have continuing education requirements. This course is identified as nontransitional for the purposes of CLE accreditation.

  • ACI certifies that this activity has been approved for CLE credit by the New York State Continuing Legal Education Board.
  • ACI certifies that this activity has been approved for CLE credit by the State Bar of California.

If you are seeking accreditation outside of New York, New Jersey, California and/or Pennsylvania, please check with your state CLE board as to whether a Uniform CLE Certificate of Attendance will satisfy your CLE obligations.

To support your request for accreditation, ensure you follow the below:

  • Each participant must log on to the virtual event separately so that we may have an accurate record of the participant’s attendance (under unique email address).
  • Stay active/logged in for the full duration of the program.
  • *Attendance Validation — Note the CLE codes that appear during the program and send these verification code words in along with your request.
  • Fill out an evaluation (not mandatory in all States).
  • For New York CLE requests, please download this form and submit the completed form with your CLE request. One form per event is acceptable, with the additional codes noted below the code box. Submit your request/form to [email protected].
  • For all other States, please fill out the CLE Request Form by following this link: Accreditation Submission Form.

*If you are an attendee that requires codes announced via audio, please let us know at least 5 business days prior to the event to make accommodations with our speakers/broadcast team.

CLE credit hours will be granted based on actual time logged on to the platform and other attendance verification procedures described below.

*Verification Codes:
During the live presentation, a series of code words will be noted randomly in the chat box during each accredited session for a few minutes.

It will appear as:

Use this code to apply for CLE credits: XXXXX

Please ensure you note these verification code words and submit them with your credit request. ACI Staff is unable to provide codes to attendees in accordance to the CLE rules.

A Uniform CLE Certificate of Attendance will be emailed to requestees once the virtual event is accredited and your participation is verified.

ACI has a dedicated team which processes requests for state approval. Due to the volume of events and requests, please allow 4-6 weeks for accreditation requests to be fulfilled.

Please note that event and participation format accreditations vary by state and ACI will make every effort to process your request. Due to COVID-19, state approvals could be delayed and/or possibly not be awarded.

CPE

If you wish to apply for CPE credits for your attendance to one of ACI’s virtual events, please review the below process.

To support your request for accreditation, ensure you follow the below:

  • Each participant must log on to the virtual event separately so that we may have an accurate record of the participant’s attendance (under unique email address).
  • Stay active/logged in for the full duration of the program.
  • Participate in all activities during the event. At random intervals, ACI will be using monitoring mechanisms such as polling questions and verification codes to verify attendance.
  • *Attendance Validation — Note the CPE codes that appear during the program and send these verification code words in along with your request.
  • Fill out an evaluation form.
