About WSN
Welcome to our Women in Sanctions Network, where we come together as a community to support and empower each other through our shared experiences and expertise in navigating the complexities of sanctions.
Our group is comprised of a diverse array of members, each bringing their own unique perspectives and backgrounds to the table. We have members from various industries, including finance, legal, policy, and academia, who specialize in different aspects of sanctions, such as compliance, enforcement, and sanctions relief.
Many of our members are trailblazers in their fields, breaking barriers and paving the way for future generations of women to succeed in the sanctions industry. They have achieved significant accomplishments, such as leading high-profile sanctions investigations, advising multinational corporations on compliance best practices, and advocating for sanctions relief on behalf of humanitarian causes.
Our Vision and Mission
The vision of the Women in Sanctions Network is to create a community where women working in sanctions have access to resources, support, and opportunities that enable them to excel in their careers, contribute to shaping the field, and promote a fair and effective global sanctions regime that advances international security, human rights, and economic prosperity.”
The mission of the WSN is to provide a platform for women working in sanctions to connect, learn, and empower each other through networking events, professional development programs, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. We aim to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the field and to advocate for policies and practices that advance the effectiveness and integrity of sanctions as a tool of foreign policy and national security.
